The Battle of Franklin- November 30th 1864

A few miles from Nashville, Franklin Tennessee still maintains its historic charm even amid the increasing bustle of traffic. On night of November 30th, 1864, it was the site of one the last major battle of the Civil War. At the end the Union had lost an estimated 2362 soldiers while the Confederacy lost an estimated 6252.
